Most Anticipated of 2010
To continue along on our theme for the end of the 2009 year, we like to take a quick look into what’s ahead for 2010. We don’t expect any new console releases anytime soon, but plenty of new games are sure to keep us busy throughout the next year. Many of us have still been waiting for StarCraft II and who knows when Diablo3 will even be released at this point. What’s clear is that Blizzard is still milking WoW for all it’s worth. They are easily making millions of dollars by the month, and once StarCraft II drops, WoW will see a quick downturn while gamers move to another highly addictive video game. Unfortunately all other video game manufacturers aren’t this lucky, and they have been working hard for their new game releases of 2010. What we can surely expect is more FPS, RTS, Sports and Adventure/Action games by the dozens.
Some of the most highly anticipated games for the 2010 year include: God of War III, StarCraft II, Mass Effect 2, Halo Reach, and several others as listed below. What’s really interesting to note is that for the most part the most anticipated games are part of very popular game franchises as are all the games aforementioned. It’s clear that game developers are looking to create a substantial lineage and history with each video game they create, if they are fortunate enough to be able to. As gamers, we truly hold games like God of War, StarCraft, Mass Effect, Halo, Grand Theft Auto, and the Mario video games pretty close to us, as some of this games we grew up playing as little kids, and others we spent countless hours on trying to master on the highest levels. We can definitely expect another strong year for gaming as we continue to be bombarded with hot game releases month after month. We will be sure to follow up as soon as possible with game previews, demos and videos when available.
