According to a report from Gamescom by ComputerAndVideoGames.com, Valve is set to release the sequel to their much-beloved portal-puzzling-platforming-I-don’t-know-what game early next year. Host of GameTrailers, Geoff Keighley tweeted the release date as well and the planets have aligned for our return to the Aperture Science labs on February 9, 2011. For fans of GladOS, portal guns, and Valve’s trademark humor, the news is a very welcomed surprise. Add this to the recent E3 bombshell of Portal 2 releasing on PS3 day and date with the other versions and consider us all-in. This was, indeed, a triumph.
