This March, the ever-popular Battlefield series will launch it’s latest title – Battlefield 2: Bad Company. Essentially the first strong attack of the new year on the Call of Duty franchise, Battlefield 2 is sure to disrupt and absorb many of the online gamers away from playing Modern Warfare 2, to battle it out in the ‘Battlefield’. Battlefield 2 has some advantages over the Call of Duty series; Namely, and what we feel was an integral missing part of Call of Duty, is the ability to drive and pilot an array of in-game vehicles. From tanks to Humvees and planes, Battlefield 2 has it all (Not to even mention the vast assortment of weaponry available). Even more so, the game maps in Battlefield are truly immense. If you’ve been playing Modern Warfare 2 online, you may have noticed that it’s a little difficult to be a ‘true’ sniper. The game maps are simply not big enough, and they haven’t provided ample hiding spots for true sniper action. Battlefield 2 will renege on all these missing features, and truly re-shape a lot of the online play in the near future.
