Will 2009 prove to be the year of the Xbox360? One thing is for sure is that the Xbox360 has it all – cross platform titles, exclusives, and better online play. However, the PlayStation3 has definitely been gaining momentum over the past few months with several hot game releases and a revamped online system. As we make the final push towards the new year, sales are sure to surge for Microsoft until Christmas time. Some of the hottest and most anticipated exclusives of the year included: Halo ODST, Splinter Cell Conviction, & Brutal Legend. Cross-platforms titles such as Wolfenstein, Batman: Dark Asylum, Guitar Hero 5, DJ Hero, Marvel Ultimate Allaince 2, NBA Live/2k10, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Tekken 6 are sure to all be great hits on the Xbox360. Historically, most games have scored higher ratings on the Xbox360 – mostly attributed to playability and graphics. Not to knock the PS3 – it definetly comes pretty close in capabilities, but the Xbox360 definetly takes the show when it comes to title selection, and online play. However, with that said, the story can definitely change as we proceed into the year 2010, as the Xbox360 has produced a pretty weak lineup for the month of December.
